Preserving the Olive Opera House meant more than saving a historic building. It created a new home for arts, culture, learning and community, bringing new energy and purpose to a place that has been part of Ossining for generations.
We envisioned the future of our creative building into thoughtfully dynamic spaces.

The owners envisioned this project as an opportunity to provide and extend inspirational performance space to the community of, and surrounding, Ossining. Beyond and without regard to financial gain, it is an exercise in growing the community they were raised in.
The existing 13,000 square foot building was transformed into an active, 21st Century cultural hub. The building's unique attributes support a wide range of arts and performance use scenarios.
The four levels were optimized and renovated to occupy flexible workspaces, studios, and a performance space with modular stage.
